New 280-unit luxury apartments planned for Longmont

SEEC Enterprises, a Boulder-based developer, is planning to build a 280-unit apartment complex on a roughly 13.5-acre vacant plot near the intersection of Ken Pratt Boulevard and 3rd Avenue in southeast Longmont, city planning documents show.

The complex will be called Brick Stone Apartments Longmont.

Of the 280 units, 28 are expected to be set aside as affordable housing for those who earn 50 percent or less of these area’s median income, according to a letter to the city planning office written by SEEC President Ben Massimino.

Massimino declined to comment on the project other than saying it is still working its way through Longmont’s permitting and approval process.

Documents filed with the city show that plans for the complex include eight buildings with one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Five pocket park elements, a clubhouse, a pool, and other amenities are also planned.

SEEC Enterprises has two multi-family projects in Fort Collins set to break ground in 2018 and 2019. The developer also has a development in Denver scheduled to break ground this summer.
