A $35 million multifamily apartment development has broken ground at 56th Avenue and Tower Road.

Brick Stone Apartments, a 150-unit community, is being developed by a partnership between Chicago-based Origin Investments and Boulder-based SEEC Enterprises.

The community, situated on 5.5 acres is expected to be completed in Q4 of 2019. It will consist of seven three-story buildings.

It will be located at 17800 East 56th Street.

Of the 150 units, 30 will have three bedrooms and 78 will have two bedrooms.

“This project is directly in path of population and job growth in this area of Denver,” said Thomas Briney, director of acquisitions at Origin Investments.

The site is about 10 miles away from Denver International Airport and less than three miles away from the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora.

The general contractor is Rimrock Construction, and Echelon Property Management will manage the property.

SEEC has developed more than 1,200 units in Utah and Colorado. Origin Investments owns 11 multifamily properties.

Origin is also an investor in the Fletcher Southlands in Aurora and the Cherry Creek Plaza in Glendale.

Last year, it completed a multi-million dollar renovation of Cherry Creek Plaza.
